BRITAIN'S POLICY.

Replying to criticism in the House of Commons, Sir Edward Grey (Foreign Secretary) was cheered when emphatically declaring that it was very undesirable that any section of opinion in Britain should represent the British policy as aiming at the isolation of Germany. It was no part of our policy, he said, to isolate any Power. Our national duty wa3 watchfulness regarding the Conge and Persia.
