TINUI NOTES.

(Special Correspondent). , Young lambs made their appearance -on Annedale station a fortnight ago tand fared very well through the reweather, and are still ;sFfoT?g and healthy. Stock in general are looking well, esp n cially ewes in "lamb and hoggets. With a good mild spring, stations in this locality ought to have a good lambing. We have had good drying winds the last couple •of days, and the .roads are drying .up nicely, making it more comfortable fur people to get about, instead of walking knee-deep in as has been the case this last fortnight. Tinui could only put twelve, men in the field against a full team for Mataikona at last Saturday's match. Both clubs meet again at Tinui on the Ist of August for the final round •of the Barr Cup, when a hard game is anticipated.
