WELLINGTON RACES. BT TEX.EO-RAPH—PfiKSS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, July 25. The Wellintgon winter meeting was concluded in fine weather to-day. There was a large attendance. The sum of £15,964 passed through the totalisator, making £36,705 for the meeting, as against £52,031 last year. The Club received £1,236 10s in lees from bookmakers. Full Cry was disqualified during the pleasure of the stewards for inconsistent running. The enquiry was further adjourned until Friday next, and the persons concerned have been notified to appear at the Racing Club's office. Results:— Onslow Handicap. Aboriginal, 1; Rangipapa, 2; Durat, 3. Also started—Truce, Golden Gate, Wharekura, Tupono. Won by a neck. Time, lmin 21 3-ssec. Croi'ton Hack Handicap.—Skye, 1 ; Sandstream, 2; Vasa, 3. Also started Rangihaeta, Spinning Flight, Monkey Puzzle, Cavatina, Truthful. Won by two lengths. Time, lmin 38 l-ssec. Third Hack Hurdles.—lmmolation, 1; £Ghoorka, 2; Jolly Roger, 3.
