MURRAY'S SALE.

The opening day of Mr J. L. Murray's great sweep-out sale of drapery, clothing and mercery, at the Exchange Buildings, Masterton, was remarkably successful. From early morning the staff were kept working, busily attending to customers who thronged the premises, and the day's tally established an easy record for any sale yet held at. this, popular trading house. The price reductions made were of such a substantial character that natrons were enabled to get what they required with a limited expenditure. The sale will last for seven days only. Five big bargain lines for to-day include ladies' all wool knitted blouses at 7s 6d, and girls all wool knitted jerseys at 3s 6d. Ladies' fashionable Kaiapoi tweed jackets range from 4s Gd.
