A COMMITTEE OF INQUIRY,

Received July 24, 9.55 p.m. LONDON, July 24. Mr Winston Churchill, President of the Board of Trade, has appointed a Departmental Committee to inquire as to how far an J in what manner the general supply, distribution and price of meat in the United Kingdom is controlled or affected by the combination of firms or companiei. Lord Robert Cecil is Chairman cf the Committtee, which includes four members of the House cf Commons, representatives of the Board cf Trade, and Board of Agriculture, and also an expert in the meat trade.
