A MYSTERY.
DAMAGE TO A STEAMER
Received July 23, 9.35 a.m. SYDNEY, July 23
The steamer Leeuwin returned from south coast ports in a leaky condition, requiring docking. It is supposed that the damage to her resulted from the same mysterious cause that led to the foundering of the Bega.
The Leeuwin, a steel vessel of 580 tons gross, belongs to the Melbourne S.S. Co., Ltd.
