HOCKEY.
A practice match will be played at Lansdowne to-morrow afternoon between the Huia and Garry Owen teams. The following team will represent W.F.C.A. A against Carterton A to-morrow: Goal, Hall; fullbacks, Thynne and Smith; halves, Richards, Fairbrother and Scrimgeour; forwards, Dickson (wing), Minett, Pragnell, La Roche and Whitt (wing). The W.F.C.A. B team to play Knox, on the Huia ground at Lansdowne, is as follows:—Keisenberg, McGinnity, Ralph, Home, McFarlane, Long, Parker, Dunn, Potter, Maxwell and Johnston. Players in this' match are notified that the game will commence punctually at 2 o'clock.
The following are the Major Cup matches to-morrow—Carterton A v. at Lansdowne; referee, Mr Noble Campbell. Y.M.C.A. v. Carterton B, at Carterton; referee, MrO'Meara. W.F.C.A. Bv. Knox, at Masterlon; referee, Mr Mcintosh.
