Received July 20, 11.30 p.m. RIO DE JANIERO, July 20. Brazil denies that she is willing to sell her new battleships to anyone. It was announced some weeks ago in America that Japan had purchased three Brazilian Dreadnoughts now building in England, but this met with a vigorous denial. A cablegram published last Saturday stated that the "Daily Express" had announced that it had learnt on good authority that Great britain had purchased the warships.
