THE SIEVIER CASE

Received July 15, 12.17 p m. LONDON, July 14. The hearing of the charge against Robert S. Sievier of having made threats to publish defamatory matter concerning J. B. Joel, the financier and sporting man, for the purpose of extorting money, has concluded at the Bow street Police Court. Sievier was committed for trial, bail being fixed at £20,000. 1 Received July 16, 1.43 a.m. LONDON, July 15. Sievier was allowed bail in t',vo sureties of £5,000 each.
