BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION. NAPIER, July 13. The Hawke's Bay Education Board, tonight, by five votes to three, carried a motion fixing school hours at 24J per week,.and not exceed five per day. It is generally understood that the object of the motion is to facilitate the giving of religious instruction in schools where committees are favourable.
