FOOTBALL.
A movement is on foot to start a "soccer" club in Carterton. The following will represent South Wairarapa against North Wairarapa, this afternoon:—Full-back, N. McKenzie; three-quarters, J. Russell," C. Groube, D. Thompson; fiveeighths, Jury and Russell; half, E. Mason; wing. J. Workman; forwards, Wickens, Cadwallader, F. Johnston, Wines, Levick, Henderson, S. Mason. Emergencies back, Groube; forward, 0. Skeet. McCarthy (Red Star) and Wickens (Greytown), the front-rankers of the Wairarapa representative team, are unable to make the trip down South. McCarthy will also be absent from the North Wairarapa team that is to olay South Wairarapa to-day.
