•THOUSANDS OP PEOPLE HOMELESS. Received July 8, 9 a.m. LONDON, July 7. Reuter reports that 3,000 houses, vthe whole of the southern part of Port au Prince, were burned in the recent fire. Thousands of persona are foodless and shelterless. The explosions at the arsenal seriously damaged a cruiser.
