The Senior football matches were continued tc-day in splendid weather, and' resulted as follows -Dunedin (3 points) beat Southern (nil)'; Alhambra (95 points) beat Pirates (5); Kaikorai (24 points) beat University (nil); Zingari Richmond (3 points) beat Port Chalmers (nil); Taieri Rovers (5 points) beat Union (nil). AUCKLAND, July 4. The Auckland -Thames inter-union rperesentative match was played here to-day, and resulted in a win for Auckland by 13 points to 6. About 3,000 spectators were present. Thames had the best of the first spell, scoring 6 points. Dufty kicked a fine goal from a mark, and Claric scored a try. Auckland in the second spell had matters their own way, «nd tries were scored by Carlaw and Herring. Kieman converted both and kicked a penalty goal. St. Patrick's College, Wellington, beat St. John's College by 29 points to nil (9 tries, 1 converted). WELLINGTON, July 4. Little public interets was taken in the annual interprovincial match, under the Australian rules, between Canterbury and Wellington, ulnyed today. Canterburry won by 69 points to 52.
