REPATRIATION OF KANAKAS.
Received July 1, 10.20 a.m. BRISBANE, July 1. The repatriation of kanakas is practically completed. Four thousand one hundred and ninety-seven have returned to the island. The Federal Government has lodged with the Industrial Court Reg.is.ttar objection to the registration of the Postal Employees' Association. NEW SOUTH WALES REVENUE Received July 1, 10.14 a.m. SYDNEY, July 1. The revenue for the year amounted to £13,960,763. COMMONWEALTH REVENUE. Received July 2, 12.50 a.m. MELBOURNE, July 1. The Commonwealth revenue far the year toiailed £15,014,000, an increase of £2,183,000 on the previous, year. The expenditure amounted to £1,169,000. J The amount returned to the States was £8,859,000, an increase of £1,015,000. OBITUARY. Received July 2, 12.50 a.m. SYDNEY, July 1. Advices have been received here of the death of Mr W. H. Tyser, head of the Tyser Shipping Company.
