CULVERDEN LAND BALLOT.

The long anticipated ballot for sections in the Culverden Estate took place 10-day. The proceedings were formally opened at the land office, and were immediately transferred to the Art Gallery. The ballot was conducted by the Land Board. Lot 27 is the one on which the homestead stands. Applicants for more than one lot who were successful in a ballot were disqualified from any subsequent ballot.
