At the Holy Trinity Church, Woodville, en Wednesday, Miss Clara Franklir, of Woodvilb, was married to Mr i 5. Renrile. Mrs G. P. Donnelly, of Hawke's bay, who has been in fen indifferent atatc of health for the past few months, is at present seriously ill in a private hospital at Sydnay. Mr D. Elliot, the first manager of the Maaterton Abattoir, and later relieving Inspector of Stock at Masterton, who has been transferred to HaA'era, is to be the recipient of a presentation from his late office s(a e f, and other well-wishers, to-day.
At Wellington, on Wednesday, Mk-s Helga Louise Petersen, second daughter of Mrs J. A. Petersen and the late Mr C. J. G. of Carte.tin, was married to Mr Arthur Charles Johhaon, tnird sun if the late Mr Joseph Johnson, of Harborne, England. The bride was gh'eh away by tier brother, Mr 0:t»> Petersen, una was nt:ended by M'.ss Gladys Gundy, and Miss Mollic Bassett, as b iies aaids. Mr H. rf. Ostler acttd as beat man, anu Mr William Sinclair as groomsman.
