CHARGES AGAINST A MUSIC TEACHER.
WELLINGTON. June 24. Arthur Joseph Wicks, music teacher, of Wellington, returned from Sydney by the Moeraki, <"o-day, in charge of Detective Lewis. It is understood that four charges involving dishonesty have been laid against him, and it is probable that he will be called upon to answer them at the Magistrate's Court to-nmrrow. It is alleged that on June sth Wicks obtained by means of valueless cheques £5 5s from Arthur Illingworth Grabsam, £4 16s 6d from Amb-ose John Hum, £3 12 6d from Robert W. Arnut, and £5 6s 8d from trancis Fredk. Grady.
