..M. LEMOINE'S FORMULA. -"AN EXCELLENT HOAX." Received June 18, 9.51 p.m. PARIS, June 18. M. Lemoine having fled, the envelope containing his diamond inak- • ing formula was opened. It contained th», folluwing statemeit: -Take • sugar carbon, place it in a raise the temperature of -the furnace to 1,700 or 1,800 degrees • ceitigrade, and thus obtain crystallisation. Next apply pressure to the '. lid, and the diamonds aru then made. Experts describe this as an excellent hoax. Lemoine, in a letter to the magistrate, stated that the owner of the ■factory impeded his experiments. If these wer'< brought to a successful ■ conclusion elsewhere he would re-ap-pear and Confound his detractors. A warrant has been issued for his . arrest.
