Received June 18, 8.55 a.m. OTTAWA, June 17. Sir Thomas Shaughnessy, President of the Canadian Pacific Railway, speaking at Toronto, said that while he was hopeful for an "all-red" route, he believed the time, had not arrived for employing Mauretanias in the Canadian service. At present there was too much reliance on sentiment, and not enough on commerce.
