THE TRANSVAAL.
OPENING OF PARLIAMENT. Received June 17, 9.30 p.m. PRETORIA, June 17. Lord Selborne opened the Transvaal Parliament yesterday. In the course of his speech he said that the supply of native labour continues more than sufficient for all needs, and the mining industry was on a sounder basis than ever.
