In the -course of their work Messrs Adam found the will of the deceased, and under that will charitias would beneiflt to a considerable amount. Messrs .Adam had recovered an immense amount of property, including in banknotes and securities of every kind. The Master of the ißolls, in allowing the claim, said •every room and corridor was piled ihjgn with loose papers, boxes, and rparcels of all sizes and descriptions, "\ and the litter on Mie stairs was almost kiwis-deep.-,. Various sums of money wer.i found in very peculiar and unlikely places. His Lordship said the racord read like the inventory ■of a robber's cave.
