The shooting oft' of the ties for tho Cement Pipe Company's trophy was fired on Monday night, and resulted in VV. Bannister (scr, 34) winning, R. King 33, F. Hood 33, G. Hood 31, McNabb 30, Pearse, 30, being the other scorers. In the Blighting Cup Competition, thirty-six members took part, K. Spackman making the*, possible (35). The following are the leading scores: —R. Spackman. s-?r, 35; W. Bannister, scr, 34; W. Hornblow, 1, 34; R. King, scr, 33; H. Perry, scr, 33; F. Hood, 2, 33; C. McGauhgrnn, 4, 33; J. Culloty, 5, 33; H. Brighting. scr. 32; A. Lewin, scr, 32; M. Mcintosh, 1, 32; R. Williams, 2, 32; G. Hood, 2, 32; W. Hodges, 2, 32. The trophy presented by Dr Cook (president), a solid silver ink stand, has been allotted to the A Class, and another good trophy to the B Class, to be fired for on alternate nights to the Cup Competition. The highest aggregate scorer, including handicap, in six matches to be the winner. The first match for these trophies will be iired on Monday next.
