RESULTS OF SEASON'S SHOOTING.
RIFLEMAN FEAST WINS FIRSTCLASS CHAMPIONSHIP.
The trophy shooting of the Opaki Kiile Club has now been completed. In the A class club championship, of four separate competitions, Rifleman W. Feast was first with an aggregate of 292, Rifleman K. J. Henry being a good second with 290. Avery high standard of shooting was maintained throughout this competition, as will be seen, on reference to the detailed scores below. In the last snoot at the 200 yards, 500 yards and GdO yards ranges no less than three 99's were put up. In the B class championship. Rifleman S. McNabb, P. Holmes and W. Spring tied with 280, the shootoff giving McNabb the victory. Following are details of the scoring:— VV. Feast, 800 yards and 900 yards G5, 900 yards and 1,000 yards 39, 200 yards, 500 vards and 600 yards 89, 200 vards, 500 yards and 600 yards 99, total 292; J. Henry, 63, 43, 89, 97, 290; W. Wjnslade, 63, 43, 92, 91, 289; R. J. King, 58, 51, 83, 93, 285; J. Bairstow. 56, 37, 87,/ 99, 279; G. Hyde, 66, 27, 89, 94, 276; J. Tnrnbull, 60, 41, 88, 90, 274; W. J. Welch, 54, 42, 77,99, 272; 11. Mawlcy, 51, 20, 94, 91, 256. B CLASS CHAMPIONSHIP. S. McNabb 59, 38, 89, 94. 2SO; P. Holmes, 59, 47, 89, 85, 280; W. Spring, 53. 43, -89. 95, 280. In the shoot-off McNabb was first, Hi limes second and Spring third. McNabb wins outright Captain Welch's silver cup. Spring holds the President's rose bowl for the year, and Holmes holds Mr Beard's trophy for the year, hnving secured two lugs in for the trophy.
