PLURAL CONTRACTING.
REEPTON, June 11. A peculiar strike has occurred in the Blackwater mms in regard to what may be calhd plural contracting, one contractor havirg obtained four contracts from the mines, it is allege;! Nt higher prices than those put in by other men. The miners on all, save the original contract, working for him, have resolved to cease work, objecting, as they say, to the system of plural contracting and the company placing contracts at other than the lowest tenders. A Union meeting will be hel.l on Sunday to deal with the matter.
