STOCK MARKET.

Mes3rs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Masterton stock sale, held yesterday, as follows: — More sheep came forward than were advertised, and the quality being exceptionally good we had the moot animated sale held so far this year. The prices realited were for the most part in excess of vendors' reserves. All good lota in lambs and wethers were eagerly competed for, as were best sorts of ewes in lamb and forward empty ewes. With the exception of a few odd lots a total clearance was effected. The cattle were for the most part rough sons and very Utile business was done. We quote:—Sheep—Fat ewes, 13s to 14s 6d; fat ewes and wethers, 13s 6J t.) 15s; forward empty ewes, 8s to lis; store twes, 5s to 7s; cull ewes, 2s 6d to 4s 6d; best ewes in lamb, 17s 6d; others, 6s to 9s 2d; two-tooth ewes (small), 10s 2d; ewes in lamb, (culls), 3s 7d to 5s 6d; fat and forward lambs, 10s 6d to 225; black-faced lambs, good, 7s to 83 fid; wethers lambs (of which there was a large yarding) made from 6s to 8s; mixed sex lambs, 5a to 7s lid; poorer sorts, 4s to 4s 9d; wethers (best stores), 13s; to 13s 8d; others, lis to 12s 4d. Cattle—Fat and forward cows and heifers, £4; Polled Angus heifers, £2 13.3; woaners, 7s 6d to 8s 3d.
