SPLENDID RAINS. Received June 10, 9.50 a.m. SYDNEY, June 10. Splendid rains are falling throughout the State. MELBOURNE, June 10. Late rains have somewhat relieved the position, but the effects of the drought, combined with the cold weather, are still seriously felt in some pastoral districts. During the pant few months many thousands of catlle and sheep have been sent to other States to prevent the ; r starving One linn claims to have shipped 15.000 cattle to New South Wales.
