♦■ — LACK OF INTEREST IN ELECTION. Rece'ved June 9, 8.15 a.m. NEW YORK, June 8. The New York correspondent of "The Times" says there never was such a lack of interest in America in a Presidential election campaign. The majority of the Republican Party favour the renomination of President Roosevelt; but realising that this is impossible, they are accepting Mr Taft without enthusiasm.
