UNREST IN INDIA.
THE CAUSE. AN EX-GOVERNOR'S VIEWS. Received Juno 7, 4.15 p.m. LONDON, June 6. Sir Bampfylde Fuller, late Governor of Eastern Bengal, in a letter to "The Times," emphasises the uneasy and dangerous mutinous feeling existing in India, which he says is the result of the people's belief that the rulers have grown afraid. "The limes" considers that events have justified the prudent and moderate proposals which terminated Sir B. Fuller's Indian career.
