QUEENLY SYMPATHY.

Received June 4, 8.10 a.m. LONDON, June 3. A poor, unknown girl, a dying consumptive, who is an inmate of St. Luke's House, Bayswater, recently appealed to the Queen to visit her, stating that she had never had an opportunity of seeing Her Majesty. Touched by the appeal, Queen Alexandra carried a bouquet to the institution, shook hands with and comforted the girl, and distributed roses to the other patients.
