WEDDINGS.
BRASH—SIGVERTSEN. At the Wesleyan Church, Mauriceville North, on Wednesday, a pretty wedding was celebrated, the contracting parties being Mr James Brash, manager of the Mauriceville Dairy Company's Factory, and Miss M. Sigvertsen, daughter of Mr J. Si?vertsen, an old settler of Mauricevifle West. ( The bride, who was given away by her father, was attended by Miss Ada Robinson as chief bridesmaid. Mr David Brash, brother of the bridegroom, was best man, and the marriage ceremony was performed by the Rev J. J. I'endray, of Elcetahuna. A reception, held afterwards at the residence of the bride's parents, was attended by a large number of guests. The presents received were numerous and costly, testifying to the popularity of Mr and Mrs Brash. The bride was the recipient of presentations from the choir and congregation of the Wesleyan Church, of which she was a prominent memoer. Mr and Mrs Brash left in the afternoon for Auckland and Rotorua, where the honeymoon is to be spent. CARROLL—SANDFORD. A wedding was solemnised at St. Patrick's Church, Masterton, on Wednesday, the contracting parties being Mr J. Carroll, of Mauriceville, and Miss Sandford. daughter of Mr Sandford, of Lincoln road, Masterton. Miss V. Sandford, sister of the bride, was bridismaid, and Mr M. O'Brien acted as beat man. The officiating minister was the Rev. Father Kelly. ANDREWS —HANSEN. At Nireaha, on Wednesday last, Miss C. Hansen, daughter of Mrs H. Hansen, of Nireaha, was married to Mr A. N. Andrews. Miss Jessie Hansen wa3 bridesmaid, and Mr F. Hansen best man.
