A cablegram yesterday morning stated that the Porte had violated the international treaty by sending troops to Samos owing to a disturbance following the Governor's refusal to summon the Assembly. In the fighting one hundred and fifty men were killed or wounded. The Governor's residence is blockaded, and the troops are besieged in barracks. The Porte insists upon the Greek Consul's recall.
