Admiral Sir Richard Poore (Com--mandei-in-Chief of the Australian Squadron) aboard the flagship Powerful leaves, Sydney en July llth nfqr the Islands; thence proceding to Ajuckland—arriving on July 30th—to await the arrival of the American fleet. , CHINA SQUADRON CANNOT ASSIST IN RECEPTION. MELBOURNE, May 30. The Federal Government has been informed that for reasons of State it will bo impossible for the Imperial Government to allow the China squadron to join thi Australian squadron in welcoming the American fleet.
