A TRAGEDY IN PERTH.
i MvJRDER AND SUICIDE. Received May 29, 10 a.m. PERTH, May 29. A tragedy occurred in ~ Moore Street, when John Odgers, a labourer, shot his wife dead and then blew out his own brains.
A few montha ago Odgers married a widow named Moulan, but owing to his dissolute habits, the wife obtained a separation order. Yesterday Odgers met his wife in the street and threatened her. She took refuge in a shop, the owner of which tried to prevent Odgers following her. Odgers threatened to "hoot the owner, and pushing past him, fired three shots at his wife, and, returning, to the door, shot hitnsalf.
