ELLERSLIE TRAINING NOTES. BY TUI.KUIIAI'Il —I'RKfS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, May 28. The weather was beautiful for training operations at Ellorslie. All the work was done on the sand, which was in good order. Leonator was better than Celtic at the end of a mile run in lmin 46scc. Seottv beat Lord Seaton over seven furlongs in lmin 35sec. Delegate and Veronica were together at the end of five furlongs, accomplished in lmin 4 2~ssec. Omati and Shrapnel were together, Inniskillen being beaten off, at the end of a mile and a-half, run in 2min 48sec. After breakfast Bobrikoff easily beat Ahei once round in 2min 40 4-ssec. Tarnainui went five furlongs in lmin 3 3-5s2C. White Lie was going easier than Recreation at the end of six furlongs, which took lmin 24 3-ssec. Ilaldane did five furlongs in lmin 4sec. Rauparaha, assisted at intervals by Epsom Lass and Cyrano, covered seven furlongs in lmin 32sec. Paritutu easily beat Le Beau at the end of a round, in 2i»in 2 4-~>sec. Pierre and Nadador were sent round the steeplechase course going over the hill and fencing beautifully. Aorangi beat Vasa over six furlongn, in lmin 20 sec. Mahoe, Belario, Showman, Waipu and Maharanui accomplished useful work.
