POLITICAL ADDRESS' AT GREY LYNN. AUCKLAND, May 27. The Hon. Geo. Fowlds addressed his constituents at Grey Lynn tonight. Speaking on educational matters he said that he hoped next session to be able to do something in the direction of increasing the>, staffing of the schools, which had notTbeen progressing at a rate equal to the increase of scholars. There was amongst educationists a concensus of opinion against uniformity in school books, but he hoped to be able to do something to remove the cause for complaint ii: this matter. He defended his action in regard to Te Oianga Homv. at some length, and at the conclusion oc the address received a vote of thanks, and confidence.
