A CHINESE FINED. BY TEIiEGIIAPII —PRESS ASSOCIATION!. WANGANUI, May 27. The first local case under the Sale of Food and Drugs Act was heard at the S.M. Court this morning, when a Chinese fruiterer wis fined £lO and £3 13s costs for delivering, exposing and offering for sale unsound fruit. The fruit in question consisted of four cases of bananas, which had been sent to an auction mart.
