GEACH'S DRAMATIC COMPANY.
The production at the Town Hall, "A Modern Adventuress," to be presented by Mr Edwin Geach's new dramatic company to-night promises, according to press reports from Sydney and Brisbane, to provide some dramatic situations with a vein of comedy. The company is headed by Mr H. W. Diver and Miss Helene Burclette. To - morrow night an entire change will be made, when "The Midnight Hour" will be presented. Referring to "a Modern Adventuress," the play with which the company commence their season* a Newcastle contemporary says:— "The play abounds in stirring situations, which were heightened with magnificent spectacular effects. The excellence of the staging adds to the undoubted charm; no detail being omitted that would add to the realism of the moving story." The bcx plan is open Miss A. E. Rive's.
