METEOROLOGICAL.
At 9 a.m. yesterday Captain Edwin issued the following forecast for the subsequent 24 hours: — Wind.—Moderate to strong norrierly at ail places northward of elasc Cape, Taupo, and Kawhia. but from the westward then<;e to Napier; northerly, strong to gale, from 10 to 16 hours, at all other peaces. Barometer. —Fail everywhere. - Rain is (probable southward of Napier and New Plymouth. Warning signa l for northerlv gale is exhibited at Canes Campbell, Foulwind, Farewell Spit, and Nuggets.
