The Liberal and Labour Federation resolved to recommend the Government to amend the Old Age Pensions Act, so that a military pension not exceeding .£l3 snail not be deemed to be income; that no deductions in a pension shall be made for life insurance where the surrender value does not exceed £140; and that the fact that a person has been convicted twice in one year for drunkenness shall not be held to be evidence that applicant has not led a sob».r reputable life.
