CRIMINAL SESSIONS.
PRISONERS FOR TRIAL AND SENTENCE.
The Wellington criminal sessions of the Supreme Court are to commence on Monday next, before Mr Justice Chapman. The following cases have been tot down for hearing:—Roderick M'Kenzie, Wellington, two charges, involving indency; Geo. Allen, .Masterton, charged with "forgery and uttering; Herbert £. PI. Bird, Wellington, charged with theft; John Hogan, Wellington, charge involving indecency; Huru, alias Wiremu Rapata, Masterton, charged with theft; Wallace Herbert Stav/arl, Wellington, alleged forgery; Arthur Roddie, Wellington, charged with an attempted gross offence; Fredk. Jansen and James Diggs, Wellington, charged with assault and robbery; David Rowe, Wellington, alleged breaking and entering and theft; Thomas George, alias M'Guire, Wellington, charge of theft; Wm. Cameron, alias Harward, Masterton, charged with breaking, entering, and theft; Thos. Prisk and Charlotte Prisk, Dannevirke, charged with breaking and entering; Annie Barrie, Wellington, charged with theft of court record; Robert Brown, Wellington, charged with .theft; Robert Brogmus, aiias Morrison, Wellington, charged with assault and robbery; John Sidney Mines, Wellington, charged with theft; Percival J. Hughes, Wellington, charged with forgery and uttering; Thomas Kane, alia 3 James Hayes, alias Keenan, alleged assault and robbery; Frank Halligan, Dannevirke, charged with a serious assault and gross offence. The following prisoners are to come before his Honor for sentence: •-Raukawal Huru, theft, Wairoa; Kaniera Te liau, alias Daniel To Hau, forgery, Wairoa; S. Knight,, alias Cameron, alias Forbes, Napier, false pretences (three charges); Ernest Wehrstedt, forgery, Wellington; Percy Faulkner, an attempted gross offence, Wellington.
