"Messrs Levin and Company, Limited, have received the following •cablegram from their Londoa agents, -dated 12th inst. -.—Sales opened to«<iay with a large attendance of buyers. .Fine crossbred opened with a decline of 10 per cent on the closing rates of last sale, and medium and coarse cross'jrjil shjvved a dec ine of 12J per cent. There was keen bidding. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Jhave received a cable from their London House as follows: —"The sale opened with a fair selection. There was a good attendance of buyers, •with animated bidding at leduoecl ■prices.
