"Messrs Levin and Company, Limited, have received the following •cablegram from their Londoa agents, -dated 12th inst. -.—Sales opened to«<iay with a large attendance of buyers. .Fine crossbred opened with a decline of 10 per cent on the closing rates of last sale, and medium and coarse cross'jrjil shjvved a dec ine of 12J per cent. There was keen bidding. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Jhave received a cable from their London House as follows: —"The sale opened with a fair selection. There was a good attendance of buyers, •with animated bidding at leduoecl ■prices. Best Merino's showed a drop from last sale of from 5 to 10 p;r • cent.; medium, 10 to 15 per cent.; ifine crossbreds, 10 per cent.; medium and coarse crossbreds, 10: to 12* per cent." 1 \
