TIT FOR TAT.
HOSTILITY TO SUFFRAGETTES
A HALL STORMED.
Received May 13, 8.3 a.m. LONDON, May 12
Nuisy obstructionists, both men and women, refused tu permit Mrs Fawcett and Mrs Despard to address a suffragist demonstration at Cardiff.
The hostile party smashed the windows of the hall, captured the banners and mottoes of the suffragists, and stormed the platform, compelling the ladies to flee. This action was intended as revenge for the tactics of the suffragists during the Dundee, election.
