Received May 14,312.42 a.m. LONDON, May 13, Messrs Buxton, Balme and Jacomb's joint catalogue at the wool sales comprised 6,887 bales of fair selection, of which 3,785 bales came from New Zealand, There was animated bidding at the opening—better than was expected. There was a record attendance. As comparedjjwith April closing sales rates crossbreds all round showed a decline of 10 per cent. Merinos were very irregular, and the choicest declined 5 per cent. Others averaged about 10 per cent, decline.
