JOHNSONVILLE, May 12. Messrs Abraham and Williams report on their Johnsonville sale as follows:—A good entry of prime beef made 233. Best buliocks £!) 5s to £i) 10s, others £8 5s to £9, light £'7 7a 6d to £7 10s. A pood yarding of yprime sheep sold well. Extra prime ■ heavy ewes 18s 7d, others 16s lid : «T 17s, others 15s lid, wethers i(small) 1G?, pritiie wethers 17s lid to 18s 9d, lambs 12s lid to lis 9d.
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report as follows on their Fahiatua 6ale yesterday:—All sheep advertised came forward. Very few cattle in. ■The sheep that were ih being ewes and wethers. No lambs. We quote:— Wethers 12s 6d to 13s 7d, ewes to Ss Gd, aged cows to 30s.
