CHARGE OF THEFT.
CHRISTCHURCH, March 11. At the Police Court to-day, Charles Brycnton admitted hnvirg stolen £l4 from Michael O'Brien at the Telegraph Department's camp at Halswell. Accused had been employed at the camp and sto'e the money from O'Brien's vest while the latter was absent. Of the stulen money £6 had been paid as a deposit for the purchase of a bicycle. Mr Bishop, S.M., remanded Brventon for the probation officer's report.
