THE CALCUTTA CONSPIRACY. Received May 11, 9.54 p.m. CALCUTTA, May 11. The police have discovered in connection with the Calcutta conspiracy that many persons were sent to France and trained in the fabrication of bombs in order to instruct Hindoos how to make them. The bombs discovered were most powerful and deadly. It is feared that many are still concealed. .Documents seized at Manicktola in a house include plans for a general revolution on a huge scale.

The prisoners who have been arrested pose as martyrs. They admit that the seditious writings of the press and the platform ' speeches inspired the conspiracy.
