THE WAIRUNA-MOONRAH COLLISION.
| AUCKLAND, May 8. The* CoastaJ Masters' Association tunaniriwasly parsed a resolution ex--1 pressing" dissent witfe the judgment of the Maritime Court in the Wai-runa-Moonrah enquiry.. The opinion is unhesitatingly expressed that no one could have done more in the tfireumstances than the: master- o4 the Moonrah did to avoid a collision. The resolution continues: —**We conaider that he has been harshly dealt with,, and hind ourselves to do-all we can to assist him to appeal against the decision. If the decision is to stand we refuse to accept responsibility for the navigation of our'vessel»>. and we feel inclined to withdraw fuom our ships until owners agree to accept the responsibility for heavy costs that may be given against us as in the case of the Moonrah."
