A LIBEL CASE.
MURRAY v. "THE TIMES." Received iMay 8, 8.10 a'.m. LONDON, May 7. The defence set up by "The limes" in the Murray libel case is that the letter complained of was fair comment, with no malice against Mr Murray.
An action has been brought by John Murray, the publisher, against "The Times," for alleged libel contained in letters signed "Artifex," the first of which appeared on October 19th last, dealing with the cost of producing the "Letters of Queen Victoria." -■•
