A STRANGE CASE.

AUCKLAND, May 5. A man named Thomas Pink was arrested for drunkenness at Henderson on Friday night and placed in the cells at the Auckland police station. He was apparently asleep, and attempts to wake him failed till Sunday, when he complained of feeling queer, and was removed to the hospital, where he died. An inquest was opened and adjourned.
