HOT AND FIERCE.
CONTEST FOR THE DUNDEE SEAT. THE GOVERNMENT AND HOME RULE. Received May 5, 8.38 a.m. LONDON, May 4. The Dundee election contest is becoming hot and fierce. Asked at one of his meetings if Mr Asquith had telegraphed forbidding" him further to pledge the Government as to Home Rule, Mr Wnibton Churchill denied the heckler's right to ask about his private correspondence. He denied that there was any disagreement between himself and Mr Asquith, and elated that he would be prepared to grant Home Rule to Scotland.
